Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a unique program that pays processing fees on donated animals and unites a network of community resources all the way from farm and field to freezer and fork.

What We Do:

Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry pays the meat processing cost for donated animals to be processed into 1 pound frozen packages of ground meat and given to food agencies at no cost to them. The food agencies will distribute the meat or use it to feed people in need within the community where they are located.

Farm Field Freezer and Fork
You can help!
Farm (Livestock)

Farmers raise livestock and donate cows, pigs, sheep, goats & poultry through our Meat4Forks program.

Field (Deer)

Deer destroy food crops. Hunter’s help control crop damage and donate venison in partnership with the Indiana DNR Hunt for Hunger program.

Freezer

Donated meat is processed into 1 pound frozen packages of ground meat.

Fork

Food agencies pick up the donated meat to distribute and feed people in need.
